TRAVIS DURAN
Travis Duran started his culinary career working for restauranteurs DGNY Group. Working his way from busser to restaurant manager over ten years, Travis enjoyed and excelled at all front of the house operations, but was always trying to see what he could learn from the back of the house which most interns overlook. Before long, he began hosting parties for friends while away at college, giving him a full understanding of what the millennials would be seeking.
His passion for delivering a unique hospitality experience combined with his outgoing personality and diverse skills that include strengths in operational processes and communication helped with concept creation, brand development, and overall restaurant/bar success. Collectively this has been instrumental in delivering a Latin American vibe dining at Son Cubano and was then taken to Ventanas.
Travis holds a Bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Delaware and focused on Hospitality, where he specialized in restaurant management. He continues to attend hospitality training seminars to stay sharp and up to date with the industry’s latest trends.
Travis currently resides in Fort Lee, NJ. In his free time, he enjoys discovering unique culinary experiences, local wineries, breweries, and live music. Sports and traveling with his friends and family is a highlight of his life.
